Russ Swan

Russell Howard Swan (January 3, 1964 - April 26, 2006) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1989 to 1994 for the San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, and Cleveland Indians. Swan was a southpaw relief pitcher usually used in the setup role, although occasionally would be called upon to be the closer during the 1991 and 1992 campaigns. On April 17, 2006, Swan was found unconscious after a fall in a stairwell in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He died nine days later at a hospital.
