Rushden railway station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rushden railway station is a railway station serving the town of Rushden in Northamptonshire, England.

The station was once an intermediate stop on the Wellingborough-Higham Ferrers railway line, which closed in 1971. The station has now been restored and forms the headquarters of the Rushden Historical Transport Society. One of the aims of the society is to re-open the line as the Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway.
