[edit] Trivia
- In the Mega Man animated series, Rush can be considered the comic relief for the show, and is usually portrayed as fiercely loyal and helpful to Mega Man, as well as a silly, bumbling dog that ends up causing as much trouble as Wily's robots. Most of his dialogue is regular dog woofs and barks, but it's also interspersed with words repeated, almost like a stutter (when excited about seeing Mega Man, he'll usually bark and yell "Mega Mega Mega!" in a rapid-fire fashion). When doing something considered humorous to the show, the ambient background music usually changes to a lone saxophone playing a jazzy, almost improvised bar of music.
- In the Nintendo DS game Mega Man ZX, Rush makes a cameo appearance as a racing cart that features the same colours and has Rush's head on the front. What's more, a red colored husky puppy is seen around Vent and Aile in promotional artwork for the game and in the animated commercial for it - this is likely an indirect allusion to Rush.
- In the Mega Man Battle Network series, Rush is represented by the battle chip "PopUp." Although in the games there are no direct references to Rush. However, in the anime Megaman NT Warrior, Rush was a program invented by Dr. Hikari to aid Lan and his friends throughout the series, and bares resembelence to the dog in the "PopUp" battle chip found in the games.
