Rupert Hanley

Rupert William Hanley (born January 29, 1952 in Port Elizabeth) is a former South African first class cricketer for Transvaal. He also represented Orange Free State, Eastern Province and Northamptonshire in his career which lasted from 1970/71 until 1986/87. A right arm fast bowler, Hanley won the South African Cricket Annual Cricketer of the Year Award for 1975 and 1984. In his 113 first class games he took 408 wickets at 20.81.
