Hi! This is my profile page!
I was born in Newham General Hospital, Hackney, London.
For your own ease, this page has also been translated into Simple English. I am still working on a Turkish version, and in the future there will be French, German and Latin versions, too. I speak all the languages mentioned so far, plus, I'm currently teaching myself Japanese. I have been told that it's hard without a teacher, but I'm willing to take that challenge. Strangely enough, I know how to read and write in Greek, I just don't understand any of it, I can only transliterate it. For example: Oνυρ (the way you would write my first name in Greek) would be transliterated as Onur; where it says Ελληνικά on the language toolbar to the left of the page, that would transliterate as Ellenika, meaning "Greek", of course. I would also love to learn Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian, too.

[edit] Origins
I have a Turkish mother and a Turkish Cypriot father. However, my father has roots linking back to Izmir,Turkey, even though he was born in the United Kingdom after his parents had migrated there. On my mother's side of the family, my grandparents were born in Macedonia, as it was under Ottoman rule at the time of their birth. However, at the decline of the Ottoman Empire, many Ottoman Turks fled back to what is now the Türkiye Cumhuriyeti (the Republic of Turkey).
[edit] Biography
[edit] Early childhood
Due to his Turkish upbringing, his first language was Turkish. However, at the age of two, he endured months of almost complete silence. He was seen by many doctors, and at first they assumed that he had Autistic Spectrum Disorder. However, in the end he wasn't diagnosed as Autistic, as they later found that he just had speech problems and severe shyness. The doctors advised his parents that he should see a speech therapist regularly, to improve both his speech and his confidence.
At the age of four, he attended Eldon Infant School. In spite of his 'problems', though, he never spoke unless required to do so, and rarely contributed in class activities or discussions. Once a week he would attend a speech therapist, usually during school hours.
He continued to attend this school until the age of 7, when his parents decided that he required private education, to improve his discipline and intelligence. So they sent him off to Salcombe Preparatory School.

I can't be bothered to continue with my biography! I'll carry on IF I feel like it.
