Rune Holta (born August 29, 1973) one of the top speedway riders in the world. Holta is born in Stavanger, Norway, and grew up in Randaberg.

  • Norwegian individual champion in 1994, 1996, 1997 and 2000.
  • Polish individual champion in 2003
  • World Champion with polish national team in 2005.
  • Danish Super league champion with Outrup in 1999 and 2001.
  • Polish Extra League champion with Czestochowa in 2003.
  • Swedish Elitserien champion (SM-GULD) with Valsarna in 1998, 1999 and Vetlanda Speedway in 2004 & 2006

Holta has participated in four seasons in The Speedway Grand Prix, and begin his fifth in 2007.

In 2007, Holta will be competing in the Grand Prix series for Poland, rather than for his native Norway.
