Run of Press

An R.O.P. (Run of Press, or Run of Publication) ad is an advertisement requested to run anywhere within a newspaper or publication. When the publication is being assembled, the R.O.P. ads are placed in open areas between the articles.

ROP is also referred to as Display Advertising.
