Run (2002) is a Tamil film directed by top director Linguswamy. The film stars R. Madhavan and Meera Jasmine. The film was praised by film critics as the story was an average one but it was told really well by the director, the crew and the cast itself.

Madhavan comes to Chennai to continue his studies. He meets Meera and falls in love with her. Despite her warning him that her brother Atul Kulkarni is a local rowdy, he begins to love her more. Her brother sets his men on Madhavan but he beats them up. And soon Meera too starts loving him. Finally Madhavan elopes with Meera and how he overcomes the brother's opposition forms the story.

The film was re-made in Hindi language by Boney Kapoor with the same name, starring Abhishek Bachchan (Siddharth)and Bhoomika Chawla (Jhanavi) in lead roles, while Jhanavi's brother was played by Mahesh Manjrekar (Ganpat).
