Rumblefish

UK pop group formed in Birmingham by Jeremy Paige in 1986. Independent hit single 'Tugboat Line' (1987 The Pink Label) followed by releases on Summerhouse Records (Medicine -1988 & Don't Leave Me - 1989). Signed to Atlantic Records imprint East West Records in 1991 releasing self titled album in 1992. Retrospective album of early singles called '1234 The Early Singles' released 2006. Various tracks available on compilations (Beauty, It Sells or it Smells etc.) past and present. Members went on to form Low art thrill.

"Rumblefish" ia also a movie by Francis Ford Coppolla (1983). The score was composed by Stewart Copeland ( The Police ) and a song was released during that year by Copeland and singer / songwriter Stan Ridgway ( Wall Of Voodoo) - "Don't Box Me In" - the theme and song most remembered from fom the movie, which played at the end credits and is still played on alternative radio.
