[edit] Plot synopsis
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
When a woman hires Harry to track down a scam-artist, the suspect turns up scorched with hellfire. As Morgan, a Warden of the High Council, investigates the murder, Lt. Murphy arrests Harry's client, Caryn Harris, as the prime suspect. But when Harris is broken out of a police transport, Harry learns that his client is covering for the true perpetrator, a hellspawn formerly beholden to the demon Sirota. And when Harry confronts the demon, he learns that Sirota has struck a deal with the High Council in an attempt to rein in Harris' boyfriend, who stolen his own Chain of Sin in an attempt to return to human form.
[edit] Trivia
- Kim Coates, who portrayed Sirota, also appeared in the 2007 James Isaacs film Skinwalkers, a horror-action-thriller about werewolves; a "skinwalker" was also featured in Dresden's pilot episode.
