Rugby league in Norway
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The sport of rugby league is played in Norway through a series of school competitions. However, there is a school in the country which plays the sport. The sport is played with Oztag belts and velcro tags, so the kids (who are fairly young) will get a positive attitude towards playing the game. Most of the kids who play are aged 9-11.
Regular tournaments are held at the school, and prizes handed out to all participants. Three tournaments have been held so far; all successful in terms of popularity and participation.
