[edit] Status at CNN

Baktiar is a wonderful reporter-- I loved watching her on Headline News and it's great to see her on FOX.

Who cares if there are several pictures of her here? She is a television personality-- there should be pictures.

User:24.71.223.141 removed the following sentence: In December 2004 Bakhtiar was pulled from CNN in a reported contract dispute and opened talks with Roger Ailes to move to Fox News Channel. with the explanation: took out "pulled from CNN, etc" because it is not true, she returned to CNN last saturday

If she was pulled, and then returned, the information about the past dispute and speculation should still be there. As should details about the resolution - is it public that she re-upped? Details? Samaritan 17:46, 24 Jan 2005 (UTC)

It was not a contract dispute at all, her father was sick and she left to take care of him and tour Disneyland.

Why all the photos?? It looks like a fan website.

[edit] Shia

Is She a Shia?

That's my little poem for you people. --Kalmia 10:49, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

That is what I have been wondering. Is the woman a shi'ite muslim?

Is she muslim at all? is she agnostic? atheist? christian? convert to Judaism? (I have never heard of a Baktiari Jewish community in Iran, Thus I say, "convert" .) I have looked and I haven't found anything on her religion. so, Is she indeed a shia? We may never know.---kim

Her grand parents were probably Muslims but I don't understand why religion should be significant??? Like most Iranians abroad, I'd say she's probably an atheist. ---An iranian —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.114.217.252 (talk) 08:23, 1 April 2007 (UTC).
