Rudolf Koelman Dutch violinist born in Amsterdam 1959, Professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Zürich.

He studied the violin with Jan Bor, Herman Krebbers and Jascha Heifetz. From 1996 untill 1999 he was the first leader of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. Currently he is teaching at the Hochschule Musik und Theater Zürich in Switzerland where he leads the HMT Strings, a string orchestra with students of the HMTZ. Koelman is a frequenly asked soloist, chambermusician, guesst professor for masterclasses and jury member at international violin competitions.
