Ruchazie

Ruchazie is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated to the north of the city close to Easterhouse. The area has experienced considerable regeneration and improvement in recent years thanks to Tower Homes LHO and Ruchazie Housing Association. Ruchazie is a hotbed of trouble.

One of Ruchazie's best known is former amateur boxer - now partner and director of property firm Obtainstand LTD - owned by Hugh Kelly. McNaught remains the former club boss´right hand man, James McNaught. McNaught has appealed the alleged "assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement" on 3 counts and "failing to appear beyond magistrates, in which obstructing the course of justice" with an appeal which has opted to file a lawsuit against his prosectuers. Which if found guilty on 22nd March, 2007, could affect his company position and up to a two year jail sentence. The case has been on-going since McNaught´s inabilty to appear since September 2004. Obtainstand LTD own property amassing a fortune of $14,200,000.

Ruchazie was where the Doyle family lived, who were killed as part of the Glasgow Ice Cream Wars in 1984.
