Ruben Douglas

Ruben Enrique Douglas (born October 30, 1979 in Pasadena, California) is a Panamanian-American professional basketball player currently with Pamesa Valencia of the ACB, the premier professional basketball league in Spain. He played high school basketball at Bellarmine-Jefferson Academy in Burbank, California. A 6'4", 200-lb. shooting guard-small forward, Douglas led the NCAA in scoring with 28.0 ppg during the 2003-04 season as a senior year at the University of New Mexico. Not drafted by an NBA team, Douglas has taken his game overseas and has played for Panionios of Greece, Italian powerhouse Climamio Bologna, and Russia's Dynamo Moscow. He is also a member of the Panamanian National Basketball Team that recently competed in the 2006 FIBA World Championships.
