Rubén Castro Martín (born 27 June 1981 in Spain) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Deportivo de La Coruña, but actually he is on loan at Gimnàstic de Tarragona.

Rubén was signed by Deportivo from Las Palmas in 2004, in 2003/04 he was top scorer in the Segunda División for Las Palmas with 22 goals.

At the beginning of the 2006/07, he was on loan at Racing de Santander, but he left Santander because he wasn't playing very much. At the moment, he is on loan at Gimnàstic de Tarragona, he did a very good beginning in the Catalan club: he scored 3 goals in the first 3 matches he played with Nàstic.
