Rubén Ayala

Rubén Hugo Ayala Zanabria (born 8 January 1950 in Santa Fe, Argentina) is a former Argentine footballer.
During his club career he played for Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro (1968-73), Atlético de Madrid (1973-80), Potros del Atlante (1980-81) and Oro de Jalisco (1981-84). He earned 25 caps and scored 11 goals for the Argentina national football team, and played in the 1974 FIFA World Cup.
He was nicknamed Ratón (Mouse) due to his short height.
