RSVP-TE
An acronym representing the Resouce Reservation Protocol-Traffic Engineering extensions. In the Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) world, RSVP-TE is an IP-based signaling protocol used to establish Label Switched Paths (LSPs) between MPLS-capable routers. It has the distinction of being able to communicate constraints for a new connection from end to end.
[edit] since when
did RSVP-TE become dependent on IPv6?
