RSM McGladrey, Inc. is a tax, accounting and consulting firm headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of H&R Block and specializes in tax, business consulting, wealth management, retirement resources, payroll services and corporate finance.
RSM McGladrey has an alternative practice structure with the partner-owned CPA firm McGladrey & Pullen. Though separate and independent legal entities, the firms work closely together serve clients, with McGladrey & Pullen providing audit and attest services. RSM McGladrey itself is not a licensed CPA firm. When considered together, McGladrey & Pullen and RSM McGladrey rank as the fifth largest accounting firm in the United States (source: Public Accounting Report) with revenues exceeding $1.1 billion.
On September 30, 2005, RSM McGladrey acquired American Express Tax & Business Services.
