[edit] Graphics

Oddly, the graphics of RPG Maker 95 were of greater resolution than those of the next couple of RPG Makers. RPG Maker 95, or RM95, incorporated 2D tilesets, that involved separate graphics files for Characters, Backgrounds, and battle animation.

[edit] Battle Type

The battle style of RM95 was similar to old games, in which you did not see your characters, but only saw the opponent, whom would be facing your screen. In later versions this style was replaced, with a more up-to-date battle system in which both your characters and your opponents appeared onscreen.

[edit] Music

The music featured in RPG Maker consists of simple midi and wav files.
