BMC has two of the most laid back, , dopest...”BLUNTEDEST”, creative groups in Caliornication. The BMC’s can only be described as "Underground Fire". Distinguishing themselves from the hordes of hardcore hip-hop artists, these two spitfire MC's have been flamin' the underground pirate radiowaves since '94. Konjourman and Naturale a.k.a. The BMC’s, straight-up-anddown are as HOT as it comes! Their very skill-oriented rap style shines and creatively expresses themselves in mad diverse ways. BMC’s musical influences range from very jazzy soulful sounds to the true essence of headbangin' hardcore hip-hop; while you can even find some straight up rock beats and melodic “smoke to” joints sprinkled throughout. Their brand of rap music takes the best of both worlds by condensing the “West Coast” funk style with the artillery-driven verbalization characterized as “East Coast” hip-hop. The BMC’s put out their first group CD album release entitled “Long Overdue” in the fall of 1997. With overwhelming underground success, the head-nodding rap group gained mad respect through their hair-raising performance at LA’s 92.3 The Beat Regional Freestyle Championship. These cats have bumrushed the West Coast’s premier venues like The Street Scene (California’s largest music festival), Pacific Beach Block Party, The Key Club, The Ho use of Blues, The Roxy, Ole Madrid, The Catalyst, and the Montage. With the December 2002 release of their newest creation, “To Protect And Serve”, consisting of 18 precisely engineered and carefully crafted bangin’ hip-hop joints, BMC are ready to wet the ears of hip-hop fans everywhere. Headbangin’ hip-hop anthems off the new project include: “Protect And Serve,” “Get Crazed,” “Romp Wit Me,” and “Let it Fall”! Listen to some snipits of these new '05 joints like, "Bring It" and "Go Down", and give us your feedback! The BMC’s ’03 West Coast Tour landed them with Warner Brothers/Surf Dog Recording Artists Slightly Stoopid (www. slightlystoopid.com) as well as a feature joint on P.O.D.’s Payable On Death CD...along with their video game and music video. This Hip Hop / Alternative fusion has set the West Coast on fire, blazin new avenues for collaboration. The BMC’s performance resume is deep as they have opened up for ABC’s Late Night Show The Jimmy Kimmel Live Show and rocked side by side with some of the hottest names: Mos Def, KRS-1, The Roots, Dead Prez, De La Soul, Blackalicious, POD, Onyx, Black Sheep, Slighty Stoopid and Spearhead. The BMC’s is one of the phattest Southern Californication hip-hop groups inexistence.....don't be the last to know.......be the one that let's 'em know...
