Roz Kaveney

Roz Kaveney is British writer and editor educated at Oxford University. She was a core member of the Midnight Rose collective. A writer of both fiction and non-fiction, Roz is perhaps best known for her critical works about pop culture: Reading The Vampire Slayer - The New, Updated Unofficial Guide To Buffy And Angel and From Alien to the Matrix: Reading Science Fiction Film. Kaveney is aregular contributor to the New Statesman and The Times Literary Supplement. She is also a founding member of Feminists Against Censorship.

On her website she says: "I was reared Catholic but got over it, was born male but got over it, stopped sleeping with boys about the time I stopped being one and am much happier than I was when I was younger." She is working on a memoir.[1]
