[edit] Five Navy Crosses

"first person in the United States Navy" to receive five Navy Crosses, isn't he the first and only one?----ProdigySportsman 04:04, 18 May 2006 (UTC))

  • To other recipient is Chesty Puller, most decorated in Marine Corps history. —ERcheck @ 22:04, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
  • It was a semi-retorical question. I know Chesty Puller was also awarded 5 Navy Crosses, but Davenport is the only Navy officer to do so. --ProdigySportsman 17:21, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
