royal oak village, about 2 kms from muinebheag (bagenalstown), co. carlow, Ireland.

There are two pubs ( www.royaloaktavern.com) the one with the history, a 3rd generation business, and the "V" bar.

And a shop! Right off the main N9 road from dublin / kilkenny.
