Royal Wood

Royal Wood is a Canadian pop music singer-songwriter, based in Toronto, Ontario. His classic pop style has drawn comparisons to Hawksley Workman, Ron Sexsmith, Randy Newman and Rufus Wainwright.

A childhood musical prodigy who began playing piano at the age of four, Wood released his first recording, The Milkweed EP, in 2002. He followed up with his full-length debut, Tall Tales, in 2004. His sophomore album, A Good Enough Day, was released in 2007 on Dead Daisy Records, and has garnered airplay on CBC Radio 3.
