The Royal Wellington Golf Club, founded in 1895, formerly the Wellington Golf Club, has one of New Zealand's most beautiful and historic golf courses.

Sited at Heretaunga, Upper Hutt, just north of Wellington, New Zealand, the course is one of the best tests of golf in New Zealand. It has been a regular venue for New Zealand Open Championships, and men's and women's national amateur championships. The club, which also has a nine-hole "inner" course, has a strong and active membership.
