Royal School of Military Survey

The Royal School of Military Survey (RSMS) is a British Army school that teaches soldiers and civilians about the art and science of making maps.
RSMS is also a trainig regiment teaching soldiers the arts of GID, Imagery and DPP. The school is based at Denison Barracks at Curridge, adjoining Hermitage, in Berkshire. Degree courses are offered in conjunction with Sheffield Hallam University.
Different courses are taught at RSMS. The most advanced course is the Army Survey Course (ASC) which is backed by a Masters Degree in Defence Geographic Information from Cranfield University. This course accepts students from military all around the world.
