Royal Perth Yacht Club is a yacht club in Perth, Western Australia.
At a general meeting in 1891, the old blue PYC burgee was replaced with a triangular St George's Cross with a St Edwards crown in the upper canton.[1]
The Royal Perth Yacht Club staged the 1987 America's Cup. The right to stage the cup was won by Australia II in 1983 ending the longest winning record for any club of 132 years. The entrance road to RPYC was renamed to Australia II drive. To comply with the requirements for entering the America's Cup races RPYC opened an annex in Fremantle.
