The Royal Oldham Hospital is a large NHS hospital in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England.
Formerly known as Oldham District General, the hospital is perhaps known best for the birth of Louise Joy Brown; the world's first successful In vitro fertilised/"test tube baby", on July 25, 1978.
The Royal Oldham Hospital is currently adminstrated by The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
