Royal Naval Dockyard, Halifax

Royal Naval Dockyard, Halifax was the summer Royal Navy dockyard in the North American Station during the 18th and 19th Century.
Opened in 1759 and located on the western shores of Halifax Harbour to the northwest of Citadel Hill, the station closed in 1905 and sold to Canada in 1907. It was re-established by the Naval Service of Canada in 1910 and is currently home to Maritime Forces Atlantic (MARLANT) of the Canadian Forces as part of CFB Halifax.
The building and facilities in the base included:

- torpedo boat yard
- Wardroom
- victualling yard (North Dockyard)
- Gate Warder's House
- Admiralty House - home to the Admiral of the North American Station and now Maritime Command Museum
