Royal Conservatory of The Hague

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Royal Conservatory of The Hague (in Dutch: Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag) is a music school in The Hague (the Netherlands) with many foreign students. It has departments for:

The two main study programmes are the "Docerend Musicus" teacher's diploma – a five-year course, and the "Uitvoerend Musicus" recital diploma – a six-year course. An exam in third year determines which course the student will take, the recital diploma being more prestigious. Students whose performance in the final practical exam for the teacher's diploma is sufficiently high may be permitted to take the recital diploma following two further years of fulltime study.
