Roy W. Menninger, MD Menninger is the third generation of one of America’s leading medical families.

Walt's grandfather, father, and uncle, established The Menninger Foundation in 1925 in Topeka, Kansas. He succeeded his father and President and CEO of the Menninger Foundation in 1967 and retired in 1993 to become Chairman of Menninger Trustees.

The Menninger Foundation in Topeka, Kansas is an internationally known center for treatment of behavioral disorders.
