Roy Lynes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Roy Lynes found fame as the keyboardist and occasional singer of Status Quo (originally Traffic Jam then The Spectres). He appeared on Status Quo's first three albums, Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo , Spare Parts & Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon. He later left Status Quo when he fell in love whilst on tour, claiming that he could see how serious the other band members (Francis Rossi, Alan Lancaster, Rick Parfitt and John Coghlan) were about fame and glory, and that he just wanted to settle down to a life with his new found love. He has lately been touring on his own. No information of these tourdates are currently available.
