[edit] Sports

The school fields teams in 12 boys and 11 girls varsity sports.

The school's baseball team is one of the best in the state, directed by head coach Pat Mealy. The team has accumulated many honors in the past few years, including the New York State Cass AA State Championship in 2005.

In a mini-dynasty of sorts, the RCK soccer team won three Class AA sectional titles between 2001 and 2004, falling in the state semifinals all three times, but attaining high national rankings in the process.

Ketcham as a whole is known for its passionate and supportive students, commonly dubbed the "Ketcham Krazies." The krazies love all their sports teams and cheer from the start of the game until the last buzzer.

[edit] The Arts

Roy C. Ketcham's music and theatre programs are quite well known in the local area.

The Masque and Mime society performs two productions yearly, one in the fall and one in the spring. Usually the fall production is a straight play and the spring production a musical. Long time director Jim Steinmeyer left the program after the 2005 school year.

The music program is made up of three concert bands, a jazz ensemble, a symphonic orchestra, and several choral groups. The music department occasionally hosts regional events at the school, such as NYSSMA competitions, Area All State Festivals, and All County Jazz Festivals.

[edit] Administrators

Roy C. Ketcham's current principal is Mrs. Sherill Murray-Lazarus, who has held that position since 2002.
