Roy Ashton (1909 – 1995) was a make-up artist. Australian-born, he died in England.
Although he had a long and varied career in British films, he is chiefly remembered for his work on the Hammer Horror films. After assisting Phil Leakey on The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), Ashton took the reins in The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959) and created some of the studio's most celebrated images in films, such as The Mummy (1959), Curse of the Werewolf and The Reptile (1966).
