There are a couple of curious edits regarding her name that have been done by anonymous users over the past month. I'm going to revert them because they haven't provided any cites or even edit summaries to give their reasons, but I encourage these users to bring up whatever sources they have to substantiate their edits. • Since when did the Arabic script for Farsi exist in Bactria at the time of Alexander? Totally misleading and incorrect additions to this article. Megan1967 06:09, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed page move from Roxana to Roxana of Sogdiana

Encyclopaedia Brittania refers to her as this being her name, prior to her marriage to Alexander. Mowens35 20:03, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

What edition of Britannica are you using? The 2003 edition makes no such mention, and her article there is entitled "Roxana". I think the article would be better off where it is now, with Roxana of Sogdiana as a redirect. Lots of people can tell you who Roxana is; I think far fewer know who Roxana of Sogdiana is. I contest the factuality of this article. Roxana was the daughter of Darius, unless there was another Roxana in present-day Uzbekistan. I want this clarified please!
