The Roxy Theatre is located in the historic downtown section of Clarksville, Tennessee in the United States. Standing on a corner of the Public Square it offers live theater shows to the public offering a wide variety of selection in the spirit of literary theater. The Roxy was built in 1947 after the 1913 Lilian Theater burned down in 1945.
The Roxy has been used as a backdrop for numerous music videos and television commercials notably for Sheryl Crow's Grammy-award winning song All I Wanna Do.
There was also a Roxy Theatre in downtown Atlanta, Georgia for many years. It was used for showing motion pictures. Such films as Spartacus had their first Atlanta showings there. The theatre was demolished in 1972 to make way for the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel. It bears no relation to the Roxy theatre now located in Roswell Road in Atlanta.
