Rouse Hill, New South Wales

Rouse Hill is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It was named after the maiden name of a local resident, Mrs Terry. ^[1] Rouse Hill is located in Sydney's rapidly growing north-west. The average house price is $500,000.

Rouse Hill Town Centre is a new development being funded and operated by the General Property Trust. It is located near the junction of Schofields and Windsor Roads, under the Shire of Baulkham Hills and the City of Blacktown. Currently under construction by the Lend Lease Corporation and due to be opened in two stages, the first around July 2007, and the second a few months later. It will include a Coles, Woolworths, Big W,Target, Reading Cinema, a Community Centre, a Library, Medical Centre, and commercial and residential accommodation. The development is being integrated with the North-West T-way with provisions have been made for the future North-West railway.
