Roughnecks (TV series)

Roughnecks was a BBC television series that ran over two series between 1994 and 1995 on BBC One. The show centred on the working and personal lives of those who worked on oil rigs in the North Sea.

The cast included Liam Cunningham, Teresa Banham, James Cosmo, Bruce Jones, Clive Russell, Ricky Tomlinson, Paul Copley and Ashley Jensen. It was created by the former Tomorrow's World presenter, Keiran Prendeville and the theme tune was written by the American TV composer Mike Post.
