Rough Ride
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rough Ride is a William Hill Sports Book of the Year award winning book, written by Irish journalist Paul Kimmage in 1990.
It deals with the author's expriences as a professional cyclist and in particular what he claims was the widespread use of performance-enhancing drugs in the sport. His anti-drug stance led to his ostracisation from the ranks of his peers, as he was condemned for having "spat in the soup".
