Rotmistrovka crater

Rotmistrovka is a meteor crater (astrobleme) in Ukraine.
It is 2.7 km in diameter and the age is estimated to be 120 ± 10 million years (Lower Cretaceous). The crater is not exposed to the surface, but is buried under sedimentary deposits both continental and marine. Above the brecciated lens that contains granite fragments and particles of impact glass, are shales, limestones and granite-derived sandstones of the lower Cretaceous.
