From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rothphone is a metal double reed instrument similar to the sarrusophone built in saxophone form. It was invented by Ferdinando Roth (1815-1898) and is also known as the rothophone, rothaphone, or saxsarrusophone. The bore of this instrument is narrower that either the sarrusophone or saxophone.
