I am a young Australian woman with a strong, proud Union history. I believe every working person in the world has the right to join a union, be paid a decent wage and be treated fairly, humanely and with dignity by their employer. I call on all Australians to stand up and be counted in the fight against John Howard's outrageous Industrial Relations laws. These laws hurt Australian families by cutting pay and conditions; conditions that were hard fought and won by our Comrades in decades past. We cannot allow this countrys proud union history to falter now.
