Ross Mitchell

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ross Mitchell is an American radio personality. He is known most widely as the announcer on the nationally syndicated Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell and George Noory. Mitchell spoofed himself on the now defunct nationally-syndicated Phil Hendrie Show, using his trademark deep voice and repeating the show's one phone number for all four lines.

Mitchell is currently the morning news host on KOH-AM 780 News Talk Reno, Nevada weekday mornings from 5:00 to 9:00am. His broadcasting career began at age 13 in Fresno, California, and continued into his college years at the University of Pacific in Stockton, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. After working as a disc jockey, news director and reporter in California, Ross moved to Reno and KOH in 1983.
