Ross Millard plays guitar and backing vocals for the band The Futureheads. Despite the futureheads being an indie band, he has declared his love for heavier bands such as Mastodon[citation needed].

Ross Millard can be seen most days in Newcastle upon Tyne city centre. Sitting on benches mainly.

Ross recently set up his own record label, Longest Mile Records, who released their debut single in February 2007, the 7' and download "This Is Just The Nightime, Andy!" from North-Eastern band, The Catweasels.
