Ross Clark

Ross Clark (born February 7, 1983) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays for Alloa Athletic. He was born in Glasgow, and is a midfielder.

Clark had initially signed a contract with Queen's Park, during the 2000-01 season where he played three games in his debut season for the club. Despite staying out of first-team action for the 2001-02 season, playing just one game, he impressed enough for the reserves to reappear for the Division Three side in a first-team role towards the end of 2002-03. Clark scored just two goals during the following season, though he remained in the first-team squad throughout.

Despite a bad start to 2004-05, in which he picked up a red card in the first game of the season, Queens Park finished strongly near the top of the table, with seven goals from Clark his main contribution to the season.

Clark was signed by Alloa in May 2006, having made his discontent known about The Spiders' midtable finish during the 2005-06 season. In the first game of the 2006-07 season, a 6-1 thrashing by Cowdenbeath, Clark received "significant ligament damage" after just four minutes, which kept him out of the game for nine weeks. His form has picked up since then, and, despite picking up a red card in his last game of 2006, he, along with the rest of his team-mates, is trying to pick the team up and avoid relegation into Division Three.
