Reverend Rosie Hoyland (née Barclay) was a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Maggie Millar. She first appeared in 2002 until the character was axed in 2003. One of the few female ministers on any TV show, she found faith after a difficult marriage to an abusive man, after which she sent her children Max (Stephen Lovatt) and Izzy (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) off to boarding school, something Izzy never truly came to terms with. Both Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) and Lou Carpenter (Tom Oliver) were attracted to her, and she was with Lou for a short while, before leaving to do missionary work in Fiji. Rosie is one of the very few regular characters not to have lived in any of the six houses in Ramsay Street.
