Rosie

- Rosie is a woman's name, originally a pet form of the given name Rose. It can also be a shortened version of the name Rosemary (or Rosemarie) or Roseann(e).
Rosie has been a reasonably popular independent first name for infants in England & Wales during the early 21st century [1], as it was in Victorian times. However, it's been rare as a name for newborns in the United States since the 1980s. [2]
