Roseville Area Middle School (RAMS) is in the Roseville School District (ISD 623). It is located at 15 E. County Rd B2 Little Canada, MN 55117.

[edit] General Information
Roseville Area Middle School has around 800 students. Each grade is divided up into "teams"(each with 5 classrooms and a variety of other rooms) with 7th graders on Pegasus or Cosmos team and eighth graders on Red Giant, Aquarius, or Dorado. School hours are from 8:05 am to 2:40 pm. The school song is the Raiders Fight Song. RAMS was originally Kellogg High School but this high school merged with Alexander Ramsey High School in 1986 to form Roseville Area High School.
[edit] Activities and Classes
The school has many before and after school activities including Student Council, Theater, Morning Choir, Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Band, Ping Pong Club, Chess Club, Science Club, Rock Climbing Club, GSA, Video Production and many more. It has many sports teams like football, soccer, basket ball, cross country, track and field, tennis, fencing, ski team, and baseball.
Each year the theater program produces 3 shows each year. One fall show, a musical, and a spring show. Also, the school is starting an improv class that occurs in fall after the first play and one in spring. The theater was recently remodeled over the summer of 2006. The remodeling included new curtains, seats, a paint job and a new lighting booth.

Roseville Area Middle School's Orchestra, Choir and Theater teacher Margot Olsen was awarded an Disney's American Teacher Awards Honoree in 2001. Only 35 out of 111,000 applicants were accepted. She also directs Morning Choir which has done some statewide performances in downtown Minneapolis at the Convention Center for the MMEA midwinter convention.
