Rose Bay Secondary College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rose Bay Secondary College is a co-educational public high school located in Dover Heights, NSW Australia, on Hardy Street. The school, officially created in 2004, was established following the amalgamation of Dover Heights High School and Vaucluse High School. Subsequently, the campus that held the Vaucluse High School students is now for sale. Rose Bay Secondary College caters for students in years 7-12. The college also has a selective stream, created in 2005, for academically gifted and talented students. Entry into the selective stream can be achieved either through a selective test, for students in year six, or for current students by applying, supplying credible recommendations from teachers. The college's principal is Mr. Jim Linton.

Due to the increase in students because of the two former schools become the one college, the school has undergone massive renovations, in the price range of AU$31 million. The school offers facilities such as a gymnasium, hall, tennis courts, netball courts, oval, lecture theatre, canteen, basketball courts, as well as many others.
